In addition, parking was $10. I would have parked in the mall across the street and walked.
Once parked I was walking towards the arena and the lines were all over the place. I had to survey which line was legitimate and luckily I chose a good one.
Went here because it was the only place close to home that had one of the last showings of Ringling Bros. circus. Parking lot was large but disorganized. When leaving the arena traffic patterns were not normal. I recommend making sure you have a GPS going or an app on your phone open and active when leaving if this is not your normal area. Decent amount of seating and rather clean.
Every other time I've been here this place would deserve 4 to 5 stars. But last night attending the PAW Patrol live experience with my husband and son deserves a one-star rating. We were asked to pay $10 how to park in a snow-covered lot that was not plowed nor salted. We had to walk on icy and slushy snow conditions. If you're not going to plow please don't ask people to pay $10 to park. That's just wrong and rude. I understand we live in the Northeast and we get snow, but you could at least have a little Bobcat out there to shovel the walkway from the parking lot to the entrance or keep it salted. I will be contacting guest services this weekend to complain. This was not a concert, but a family event so why on Earth would you charge $10 per car besides trying to make a killing knowing that they can!
After the event exiting was slow. There could have been attendants helping direct people to exits. It took over 20 minutes just to get off the main floor.
Great food, great hockey. Must stop Chickie and Pete’s for amazing crab fries. Not expensive compared to NHL games. Free parking, but you got to look for a letter your near on one of the light poles for when you come out, can also be a pain getting out sometimes. When arriving, the staff could be friendlier with their “movements,” as well as make quick decisions.
Traffic to the event was horrific. There should have been some variable message signs to direct Traffic to the proper lanes.
I was on the main floor and I was only able to locate one emergency exit. Definitely not good enough for the amount of people attending.
Seating was very tight. You had to keep your arms crossed in order not to infringe on your neighbor
Once in the parking lot there was again was confusion to where to go. I had to ask a security person as to why was I stopped in this particular lane for 10 minutes when there was other lanes open and moving. He replied I didn’t have to be in that lane and to move into the other lane if I wanted.
Beautiful arena. Great venue for hockey, concerts, or any other event. Good views and good sound. Well run, well organized. Some of the parking staff are a bit grouchy, but I suppose it's somewhat understandable.
There were plenty of security and attendants to help you find your seat.
Inside wasn’t too bad. There were multiple entrances to enter but the hallways were not too wide for the amount of people.
My first time to the Arena.
